Seeking Sacred Sunni Knowledge

Shout out to the Sunnis: Help Wanted

Salamu ‘alaykum all,

If you are a real Sunni, interested in upholding the Sunnah and defending the way of the righteous forefathers, and are willing to spend a few hours of your day – or maybe even week – in helping our SeekingIlm.com website grow, please email us at seekingilm at hotmail.com.  We are particularly interested in people able to translate Arabic. [Rafael: Bonus points for Malikis]

We would like to kick up the research another notch and spend more time refuting the anthropomorphic creed of the pseudo-salafi movement, exposing their heresies, as well as the heresies of other groups as well. We would like to start a detailed refutation section of the pseudo-Shi’i Rafidi movement that has shown its head within the last 200 years as well. We currently have around 10,000 hits/visits a day according to our website counter, so this would be a great way to squelch bida’ah and promote good bida’ah, in the words of Imam Ash-Shafi’i, as well!

Note: Sidi Rafael wanted me to add in the following clause: “You must be able to prove your orthodoxy through a trial by fire”…

Okay maybe not fire, but you get the idea.

No! presents, give us presents, offerings!

Jazakum Allahu khayran

Assalaamu aliykum wa ramatullahi wa barakatu,

Sidi Abu Layth insha’Allah I’d like to help with this site as I can. I don’t have a lot of free time but I am very interested in learning as much sacred knowledge as possible so if you can think of anything I could do to help I’d be more than happy to. Please keep in mind that I unfortunately don’t have a lot of time or knowledge like you and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle you have helping you.

    At your service,
    Shadhili

    Salam
I would love to help but not sure if I am anywhere near your level. To prove my ‘sunnism’ I would say that I have studied for a year a Dewsbury and also for a short time at darul uloom Leicester and Blackburn. I am currently at Imam Zakariyya Academy in the third year of the alim course. I have studied the hanafi texts such as nurul idhah and fiqhul mayaysar. And inshallah will be studying usul shashi and other books after ramadhan. If you need any help (which I doubt) let me know. Finally I was wondering if you have any information of the sunni stance of the muslim rulers today as I have read the views of the takfiris and the replies of the salafies. But I have not heard of a full reply by the contemporary scholars.
    Wasalam
