10th Annual Isra & Mi'raj Conference: Try to Attend!
Alhamdulilah, by Allah’s will I met a brother who gave a lecture a few years ago at this conference on Suyuti’s position of the parents of the Nabi (‘alayhis salam). He always encourages me to go, but unfortunately I am unable to attend this year do to my travelling to California. However, I encourage anyone who can participate to attend the conference as I have been informed by several individuals that there is alot of knowledge, barakah, and possible awliyaa’ that attend. It is a great chance to be around Sunni brethren who practice traditional Islam. The whole conference is free for everyone attending – yes even the food. I am writing this to introduce you with ISRA. It ia movement to revive deen in its totality based upon the three dimensions of deen mentioned in Hadith of Jibreel (R.A.A). It also seeks to cultivate the love of Allah (swt) & His Prophet (saws) in the hearts and souls of Muslims as the motivation of Ibadah.The movement does not promote any particular tariqa. It rather promotes the essence of Tasawwuf as the foundation of all tariqas. It brings Shuyukh of all tariqas on one platform and promotes tasawwuf as an integral part of Islamic Shari’ah. ABOUT KNOWLEDGE
Real knowledge is obtained only with a humble heart. The way to acquire real knowledge is similar to the way in which a person desiring to drink from the water from a stream. He must lower himself and bend down in order to drink. Water is always to be found in the lowest place. We must become like the water.
Every stage of the voyage is more beautiful than the previous stage.
Everyone issues from the same light. There is no distinction.
We see only exteriors but the inner realities are hidden from our perception. Our bodies live in this world, but our inner beings live in another dimension, another realm. Access to this inner being is the entire function of the way (tariqa).
