As-Salamu ‘Alaykum Readers,
I do not usually, and I do not believe I have ever, used Seekingilm.com to push or advertise another site save for Marifah.net. It has been brought to my attention that Sidi Abu Adam has started a site dedicated to responding to the heterodox creed of the pseudo-salafiyyah sect called “Sunni Answers“. I read Sidi Abu Adam’s responses to Yasir Qadhi the other day and was enthushed at his ability to respond to the subtle points of creed. He understands the Asha’ri school well. So, I recommend that all seekers and students have a visit at his site and even forward questions to him pertaining to creed. He is an incredibly valuable resource for the English speaking Muslims. May Allah
bless him and allow his site to benefit the Ummah. Amin!
Assalaamu Alaikum sidi Abu Layth
in response to your recommendation of sidi Abu Adam’s site, i too have found some useful things on it, however perhaps you might be able to help clarify regarding his articles on making unequivocal takfir on those attributing the ability of lying being jaiz aqli for Allah
and likewise unequivocal takfir on those who fail to consider this a kufr belief even if they do not hold it. How does one reconcile this with what Shaykh Nuh has mentioned in his article on takfir, where he mentions that sanusi recognised such a belief and even if we do not hold it, we can nonetheless rest assured tat if someone else mistakenly did then they are still muslim. From my reading of the article and email correspondence with br. Abu Adam, he has emphatically made clear that if shaykh has infact made an statement with this purport then the charge of kufr and takfir must be applied.

Wa’alaykum Salam Sidi Mansoor,
This issue does not concern me and so I will not be commenting brother. I generally recommend the site of Br. Abu Adam and it seems to clarify some misconceptions the laymen have. Jazakum Allahu Khairan,
Abul Layth
Assalam-u-alaykum dear brother,
BarakAllahu-feekum for such an excellent blog. May Allah
bless you immensely.
Shaykh Abu Adam is a beacon of light and hope in a time of darkness.
I have several examples of Shaykh Abu Adam’s response in my blog, as well as a comprehensive list of posts exposing Yasir Qadhi, the al-Maghrib Institute, and Muslim Matters:
