Ibn Baz Defends the ‘Wahhabiyya’ and calls them such!
It is interesting to note that the pseudo-salafis of our age, in their darkness and evil, refuse to be called “Wahhabis”. They take offense and even go to extremes in defending their innovated title of “salafi” over the ascription of others who call them “wahhabis”.
However, Bin Baz, their arch Imam in evil, anthropomorphism, treachery of the Muslims by releasing his fatwa that allowed the land of the sacred ka’abah – a land in which our very Prophet Muhammad still is alive within His grave, ‘alayhis salat wa salam, – to be inhabited by an army that defends the very emblems of economic tyranny through curses usury and political oppression and imperialism, called the wahhabis all sorts of wonderful names:
وليست الوهابية حسب تعبير الكاتب بدعاً في إنكار مثل هذه الأمور البدعية، بل عقيدة الوهابية: هي التمسك بكتاب الله وسنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم، والسير على هديه، وهدي خلفائه الراشدين، والتابعين لهم بإحسان، وما كان عليه السلف الصالح، وأئمة الدين والهدى، أهل الفقه والفتوى في باب معرفة الله، وإثبات صفات كماله ونعوت جلاله
“… Rather! The creed of the wahhabiyya is holding fast with the Book of Allah, the Sunnah of His Messenger, traversing upon His guidance, and the guidance of his rightly guided Caliphs, and those who follow them in good, and whatever the righteous forefathers were upon, and whatever the Imams of the Religions were upon, and the people of fiqh and fatwa in regards the gnosis of Allah, and affirming the attributes of Allah etc etc etc….”
All lies, but the point here is that he clearly professes the “Creed of the Wahabiyyah!”

May Allah guide the Wahhabiyyah back to the pure Sunnah, the way of the righteous forefathers, and the Imams of the Muslims! May Allah allow their da’wah of evil to be overthrown, their plague removed, and the Sunni orthodoxy once again to gain control of the two Harams! Aameen!

I have heard from a scholar that Imam Sharwani in his hashiya of Tuhfa under the section kitabul Bayy, has equated the wahhabiyya with khawarij. Could you translate the relevent portion?

Why do you have to mention a Muslim who has passed from this world by name. You never hear people like Shaykh Nuh and Habib Umar doing this.

I love Shaykh Bin Baaz. May Allah have Mercy on his soul. He spoke the truth. May Allah guide you people. He was from the REAL Ahlul Sunnah.
The point of this article is only to show that Bin Baaz called towards a “wahhabi” sect/da’wah. He did this openly, staunchly, and claimed it was the way of the righteous forefathers (salaf us saalih). Obviously his claims are easily rejected based upon the statements of the Salaf themselves.
Bin Baaz, we believe was sincere in his ijtihad, and we hope that Allah pardons him because of his inability to see the reality of the world – literally. A blind shaykh led by a blind-hearted mass of students and co-shaykhs all espousing to be “wahhabis”.
He was, however, in a bubble of ignorance, as the monarchy wanted him to be so as to be their pawn. One can easily deduce such by the fact that he allowed the American imperialists – with his fatwa – to enter the Arabian peninsula at the behest of the evil King Fahad.
His fiqh was horridly botched, and many of his stances are easily refuted. His ‘aqidah stepped away from the Majority and placed him amongst the evil and heretic Muqaatiliyyah and anthropomorphic Hanbalis of old that Ibn Al-Jawzi exposed in his Daf’ Shubah. Indeed, he will go down in Sunni history as being one who bashed the Sunni creed explicitly in his comments on Imam At-Tahawi’s treatise on Creed as well as Ibn Hajr Al-’Asqalani’s tome Fat-hul-Baari! If only Bin Baaz would have known his place and shut his mouth, so many people would have been saved from his evil and ignorance! Such shows the dangers of one blind shaykh who bashed the mountains such as Tahawi and Ibn Hajr [and Imam An-Nawawi whom he did not hold his tongue from too] that came before him!
